Our 5 inch solid hand scraped cabernet colored Chateaux birch offers pieces containing a dark red wine color over a tight grain. The growth tree patterns are also tight with a sketchy look. The hand scraping actually brings out a three dimensional type feel to the knots yet remains smooth to the touch. Some planks have lines of a pink blushed wine down the length.
