The wide engineered heritage colored maple is dark brown but not so dark that it’s black and has a reddish brown overlay to its patterns. It has a tight grain with very subtle growth markings down the line of each plank. The hand scraping blends in what can be seen of the growth markings into the rubbed shade variations this offers.
