The wide planked golden dawn colored hickory of Carlton’s Monterey collection have a medium tawny brown look, that is similar to some back drop landscapes seen at sunrise. Tree markings are definite and straight or wavy and appear darker than the actual wood shade itself. Each plank has darker rubbed looking spots in some places and is highlighted by the hand scraping.
