Maple
Maple trees grow all over the world and bring to the hardwood flooring industry light golden browns, various shades of reds and browns so dark, they are nearly black. In North America, maple trees provide maple syrup, wood for smoking food and various colored leaves that come off the tree in the fall. In the Mediterranean, maple trees stay green year round.
