Hickory
Hickory is one of the hardest woods in North America. Being a light or medium brown to a darker grey-brown, hickory is notable for displaying unique wood grain patterns that can be flat and wavy or swirled like those found in tree rings. This dependable wood works great for busy or larger families or those with larger pets. Hickory was the choice of wood used in making wagon wheels with during the early 19th century and is still used today to make wagon wheels by some Amish communities.
